Can't listen to audiobooks I have in the library anymore.... Despite update and cache clear no solution...

Terrible UX/UI
I like the concept of being able to listen to audiobooks while I'm driving or cooking or cleaning. What I don't like is the inability to navigate on this app for what I'm looking for. I think that the concept of paying $14 a month or whatever it is to get “one credit” towards one free book is a bit absurd, what is the point of getting this audible membership exactly? But this isn't about the cost, this is about the poor design of this app in general. So I pay $14 a month so I can get one credit towards one free book, and the lure of being able to access “free books” with my membership. Unfortunately this app makes it extremely difficult to even find what I'm looking for, it pushes books that I have to pay “one credit” for before showing me the books that are included with my membership, the “included books” promised, that the majority of people signed up for in the first place. The filtering and sorting ability is extremely poor, after searching for a category it does not allow you to filter for books that are included in the membership. In addition there aren't really the most options for books that are included with my membership. Again, it wouldn't be a big deal if it was made explicitly clear that you will most likely have to use the one credit you get a month towards the book that you want to read, however, audible is marketed to lead you to believe that you are able to access unlimited books a month. It kind of just feels like a scam. There is no filter or ability inside the category to look for the books included in my membership which is odd because isn't that the purpose of this audible membership? It just doesn't make any sense to me. In addition some of the narrators are insufferable to listen to. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep this membership after the trial ends when I have YouTube for free and I can look up audiobooks. Overall, I'm not impressed at all with this app or business strategy.

Major Unforced Error
If you've been paying attention to the news and hearing about passwords being hacked, you might have decided to take Amazons advice and upgrade your account security to the new Passkeys system instead of plain old passwords. Unfortunately after doing this you can now longer sign in to the Audible app and are forced to use the web only Audible player. Furthermore you'll loose a lot of functionality and software reliability, as well as important (not, apparently to Amazon) accessibility features.

The app itself is fine, but when it came to cancelling the subscription, super complicated, to unsubscribe I had to resort to a pc and enter via the web, on the mobile I couldn't find the way, trap so you can't cancel the subscription.

Doesn’t save my place
I've used the app for years without problems. For the last two titles, it has stopped saving my place, rendering it useless. I drive for a living, and Internet is intermittent. I've read that the app has to be connected to the Internet to function properly. Did they recently increase the spying and break the app?

If I pause it picks a random spot I've already listened to, and I then have to go find where I left off. Takes too much time.

Audible trying to steal my time and money
Amazon is trying to steal money from me by “asking” me to buy books I've already purchased ??!!! Then they steal my time by making me call so they can Look up the book to make sure it wasn't a Freebee… arggh!!! Is this how they want to treat their most loyal customers?

Very good if you want to spend a lot of money, but of course there are also free audiobooks. But there are also glitches that are very annoying, such as the wrn you turn on a timer so that the audiobook should go out after 15 minutes, for example, the app gets stuck and crashes five seconds later. But still very nice.
