Dire service. I don't recommend it at all. I prepared a surprise for my son's 18th birthday, and they didn't show up to set up a closet at the time they had arranged. The surprise could not be thanks to them. The other companies did not fail. And they hide behind their chat so that you can't locate them and you can't claim anything and they don't solve it for you. That said, look for other professionals, there are many good ones, they don't.

Takers consistently cancel at the last minute
While this isn't the apps fault per say, I've tried to hire 3 separate taskers for 3 different tasks and they always cancel at the last minute. I've scheduled anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 days in advance and each time they've accepted and then suddenly need to cancel, for forgotten plans with grandma to taking a cat to the vet. Like come on. I'm reserving my busy schedule for a service and I plan my day around it. And then they cancel last minute. Sometimes they try to offer a replacement, in this case that was someone with no reviews yet. No thanks. Task rabbit needs to find a way to make this app more useable and not waste everyone's time. You've lost a customer that you never even had in the first place because not one, two, but three times my tasks were cancelled. Cleaning and yard work that never happened. What a joke

Terrible app and no customer service. Cancel tasks without warning you. Considers promo codes used even though you didn't successfully book a task with it. Warns that you will be charged for 1 hour within a certain window of time even if you're not within that window of time and even if the reason you can't book is because the other person rejected your request. No customer service to help with these. App often glitches and shows incorrect availability or doesn't allow booking at all. Run away.

Not Recommended
I waited on their live chat from 9:33 AM - 1:30 PM for a representative. It is way too long. I contacted them because I had a task setup but the tasker cancelled the same day. On top of the rate you give the taskers, they have a very high Trust and Support Fee that they say is non- negotiable. I don't recommend this app. Find several trusted people to help you with your work and don't deal with unreliable providers.

Typing the address every time I'm checking a task is rather annoying. I have moved the house and have lots to do but can't be bothered to keep giving same information over and over and over and over again

Terrible Experience
I've been trying to find someone for a tiny project for ages, because I don't have the tools I need, and I'm supposed to be hosting a baby shower soon. I finally decided to try Task Rabbit after hearing about it for years, and it was a disappointment not because of the app, but because of the taskers. The first one I hired was a no show, which was annoying because it prevented me from hiring anyone else in their place. The second rescheduled for another day and then cancelled 10 minutes before my appointment. All this app did was waste my time and leave me annoyed, much like my ex-husband.
